Hail, Great Queen! Thank you for receiving us.
I come before you on behalf of Duke Albers and the Council of Pestin; they send their greetings and respect to you, and wish for many continued years of prosperity for the Kingdom of Alania.
Your Majesty, I am here regarding recent tales from the heralds and the criers in distant Pestin. They say the age-old enemy of all mankind - the scourge of piracy - again prowls these waters. His Excellency, the Duke, charges me with discussing this with Your Majesty.
I am also empowered to sign treaties of co-operation, should Your Majesty see fit. As you no doubt recall, the Merchant Republic of Pestin maintains a colony by name of Eimonsbach in these parts. The Duke thus believes our two realms have a vested mutual interest in stamping out this problem.
