Upon the meeting of Crown Prince Fionn, Heir to the Throne of the Kingdom of Alpa and his counterpar Prince Ciáran, King-Apparent of the Kingdom of Deithe, the following terms were agreed upon, formally establishing the foundation for future relations between the two realms.
Section 1 - Trade
There shall exist a state of free access for merchants between the realms of Deithe and the realms of the Three Crowns Trading Company, granting equal access to the markets of each realm under the condition that local levies, fees and taxes are payed, and so long as local customs and laws are followed.
Section 2 - Maritime Cooperation
The Kingdom of Deithe contracts the construction of 20 dhows and 5 carvels from the Alpan Royal charter Yards for the sum of 1,375,000 pfennigs. The Royal Charter Yards will permit a dozen of Deithe’s master-shipbuilders to observe their construction.
The Alpan Crown will grant contracts for service in her merchant marine for the duration of one year to sailors from Deithe with the goal of gaining experience in the operation of sailing vessels. In return for their service, Deithan sailors will receive full compensation equal to that paid out to Alpan sailors.
