British-German Licensing Agreement of 1961

  1. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (henceforth mentioned as Britain) will supply the Federal Republic of Germany (henceforth mentioned as Germany) with 2,240 BL 5.5-inch medium guns, to be delivered upon production.
  2. Germany will supply Britain with $201,600,000 in exchange for the artillery pieces upon signing, with the money to be handed over in the first financial quarter of 1962.
  3. Germany will undertake not to sell any of these weapons to any foreign nation. Germany will be allowed to make any adjustments or modifications upon further agreements to these aforementioned items, but will provide Britain with full documentation and rights to any such adjustment or modification, as well as the blueprints of any vehicles made using these items.

Summary:

Britain will supply Germany with the following:

Germany will supply France with the following:

  • $201,600,000 Q1 of 1962
