The Crowned Republic of Euskal Herria finds itself in the position where it needs to buy additional foodstuffs to provide for its people, and are thus seeking bilateral trade with willing partners for various food-stuffs.
Envoys from several realms have arrived in Court to ask, “In what quantities is Euskal Herria seeking to import?”
Envoys from Alania, Armecas, Capodecia, and Tersela are among the most interested in this line of inquiry.
An envoy has arrived from distant Pestin-Grad. This envoy also seeks to learn the quantities of foods, and what types, the realm seeks.
An envoy from Melosia arrives with a signed writ of trade from Troispillier with the same questions.
The Crowned Republic is looking for around 20,000,000 kg of foodstuffs, mainly grains and vegetables, but other foodstuffs are also welcome. We are willing to listen to all realistic offers.
An Envoy from Caleras, your protectorate, has also appeared. They present, as long-standing partners to the Euskal Herrian Doge 5,000,000 kg of food stuffs for the price of ₰100,000.
Alania, Armecas, and Tersela all have varying offers:
All three can provide enough food for Euskal Herria for the rest of this year. Armecas asks for a price of ₰500,000, as they do not have a port large enough to support to support the amount needed to be moved (slower delivery). Alania offers at a price of ₰600,000, citing the need to insure the vessels due to recent piracy issues in the Virareno Sea (higher chance of potential shipments being missed). Tersela has come in at ₰520,000, stating that while their northern port of Luzonca is smaller, it is sheltered and the closest to Euskal Herria (wildcard on capacity, due to infrastructure and capacities). Capodecia has withdrawn as they have decided to provide their foodstuffs to the nearby cities of the Morovian League.
Pestin-Grad has withdrawn; the envoy begged forgiveness, but said he had received a letter stating the available foodstuffs had been sold to Gilan.
Euskal Herria will gladly accept the generous offer from Caleras.
