The Empire of Siliton, the Monverian Duchy, the Duchy of Briva, the Duchy of Afesp, and the Duchy of Camsia; acknowledging the benefits of mutual cooperation and diplomatic relations; agree to the following terms as a part of this binding treaty. The high contracting parties agree to enforce the articles of this treaty to the best of their ability
I. On Non-Aggression and Peaceful Relations
The high contracting parties agree to a state of non-aggression between the parties. This entails that no party that is a signatory of this treaty will act in an aggressive fashion towards another; either overtly or covertly; for military, economic, or political gain. The Empire of Siliton agrees to serve as guarantor of this clause of the treaty, and will aid any power that is attacked in violation of this treaty. Additionally, any party who attacks another in violation of this treaty, will have their membership to this treaty considered null and void.
II. On Matters of Diplomacy
The high contracting parties agree to send envoys and representatives, empowered with the ability to negotiate on the behalf of their kingdom, to the Empire of Siliton. These representatives will be tasked with maintaining continual political discourse among the members of this treaty. In addition, the high contracting parties agree to bring disputes before this group, and seek mediation and negotiated settlement.
III. On Matters of Trade
The high contracting parties agree to extend the protections and privileges of their own traders to the traders of their partners. In addition, the partners agree to encourage traders to operate in all partnered kingdoms, both in the markets of import and export, by ensuring that the tariffs they pay are no more than the tariffs paid by indigenous traders.
In addition, the Empire of Siliton agrees to, over the span of the next five years, invest in the improvement of the shared trade route between the parties kingdoms. The Empire of Siliton agrees to pay a sum of money equal to at least half of the cost, to upgrade the trade route to match the quality that it is within the Empire’s borders.
IV. On Matters of Camisa
The Empire of Siliton agrees to fund the construction of a coastal village on the shores of Camisa. In addition, the Empire will assist in funding a roadway to connect the village to the pre-existing trade route and the capital.
